1. Upload a photo of the car
Shoot the car from a three quarter angle in even daylight, with the whole vehicle in frame and a little space around it. Avoid harsh midday shadows across the bonnet and keep the camera at roughly headlight height so the proportions stay natural.
- JPG or PNG straight from a phone is fine.
- Keep the number plate visible if you want it swapped for a clean plate.
- One car per photo gives the sharpest cut out.
2. Choose a showroom background
Pick from the built in library of bright dealership interiors, turntable floors and plain studio cycloramas, or upload your own showroom once and reuse it across the whole stock list so every listing matches.
Not sure which suits your listings? The showroom backgrounds guide walks through when to use a dealership interior instead of a plain studio.
3. Download and publish
The car keeps its shape, colour and reflections while the background is locked, so the only thing that changes is what is behind the car. Every generated image is stored in your dashboard, so you can re download it whenever a listing gets rebuilt.
How long does it take?
A single image takes a few seconds. A full stock list of thirty cars is usually done in the time it takes to make a coffee, which is why dealers on the Pro and Studio plans tend to restyle every new arrival on the day it lands.
