Recommended sizes
- Aim for at least 1,600 pixels on the long edge so buyers can zoom.
- A 3:2 landscape ratio suits full car shots and most marketplace grids.
- Keep files under about 5 MB as JPEG for fast uploads and page loads.
- Shoot landscape, not portrait, unless a platform specifically asks otherwise.
Leave room around the car
Marketplaces crop thumbnails differently, so give the car a margin on all four sides. A car filling the frame edge to edge often loses a bumper or a roofline once the platform crops it to a square tile.
Consistency beats resolution
